Why not tie the color scheme into what the city uses on its flag, for example, for a little variety in color schemes?Good work with the logo renderings.
The current third jersey is black with a grey and white wolf's head, with white piping, and a wolf's paw as the shoulder patch and has been worn starting with the 2010 season.Since the 1988–89 season, the Sudbury Wolves' colours have been blue, white and silver, with the current logo at the top of the article. The blue here is a little more saturated than your Archers concept (I think), but with the blue and the gray, the concept as a whole is still VERY subdued in terms of color.

I don't think the mouth is a huge issue, but it is a issue regardless. Worn on the Sudbury Wolves alternate jerseys beginning in 2010/11 season. It's a little plain.
