On the day of the race, Adam signs up and is warned by Sheriff Ryan of the potential dangers. In this spin-off of the Air Bud franchise, five pups follow an ice cream transport truck to a plane and end up flying with the ice cream shipment to Alaska. Jean George, the defending champion, starts to cheat and sabotage the other contestants.
