Looking for something even fancier? Get a guide as there is a lot to see to learn about, then walk down to the musuem through the jungle walk, stopping at the rope bridge along the way. We were told by the locals they are better than Agua Azul, and for us they were! You can get an official guide right there at the gate and the rate is standard. Guest rooms at the Mision Palenque are equipped with a private bathroom and air conditioning. Food is wonderful and their staff is very special.Prices drop the moment you sign up!Our hotel was so central and walkeable- on one end of our street was the highway and bus depot, the other end took you to Palenque the town which was bustling and thriving and safe.
